How much does dental treatment cost in Mumbai?

By Make Me Smile Dental Health Centre, Shastri Nagar Lane 2, Andheri West · Updated 1 October 2026

The short answer

The cost of dental treatment depends on the tooth or teeth involved, how complex the case is, the materials used (for example, the type of crown or implant), and how many visits it needs. A fair clinic examines you first, then explains your options and what each will cost before starting. Be wary of quotes given without an examination.

Cost is one of the first things people ask, and they should. Here’s what actually drives the price of common treatments, so you can compare clinics fairly.

What affects the cost

Root canal treatment

  • Which tooth: molars have more canals than front teeth, so they take longer.
  • How infected or complex it is: curved, blocked or previously treated canals need more time.
  • The crown afterwards: most back teeth need one, and the material (zirconia, ceramic or metal-ceramic) affects cost.

Dental implants

  • Number of implants and where they go.
  • Bone grafting, if extra bone is needed.
  • Implant system and crown material.

Invisalign

  • How much the teeth need to move, and therefore how long treatment runs.
  • Retainers at the end.

Dentures

  • Full or partial, and the materials.
  • Implant-supported options cost more but hold far better.

How to compare quotes fairly

Ask each clinic:

  1. Is the quote based on an examination and X-ray?
  2. What exactly is included, and what costs extra?
  3. How many visits will it take?
  4. What happens if something goes wrong afterwards?

Our approach

We don’t list prices, because we can’t give an honest figure without seeing your teeth. At your consultation in Shastri Nagar, Andheri Lokhandwala, Dr. Vaishali will explain your options and what each will cost, and nothing starts until you’re comfortable. Book a consultation.

More questions

Why don’t you show prices online?

Two people asking for “a root canal” can need very different treatment. A molar with curved canals and an infection is a different job from a front tooth. We’d rather give you an accurate figure after seeing your teeth than a misleading one online.

Is the cheapest quote the best value?

Not always. Compare what’s included, such as X-rays, the crown after a root canal, the brand of implant, follow-up visits and guarantees. A cheaper treatment that fails can cost more in the end.
