Smile design starts with your face, not your teeth. We look at your lips, your gum line and how much tooth shows when you talk and laugh, then plan changes that suit you.
Depending on what you’d like to change, that might mean veneers, composite bonding, whitening, aligners, gum contouring, or a combination. Smile designing is one of Dr. Vaishali’s areas of special interest.
Is it right for you?
Smile design & veneers usually helps with:
- Chipped, uneven or worn teeth
- Gaps between teeth
- Stains that whitening can’t lift
- A big occasion such as a wedding, where you want a confident smile
What happens, step by step
- 1ConsultationWe talk about what bothers you and what you’d like, and take photos and impressions.
- 2DesignWe plan the new shape and shade and show you a preview before any tooth is touched.
- 3TrialFor veneers, you can often try the new shape in temporary material first.
- 4Final workVeneers or bonding are placed and fine-tuned until the bite and the look are right.
Aftercare
- Avoid biting very hard things (ice, nut shells, pens) with veneered teeth.
- Wear a night guard if you grind your teeth.
- Regular cleanings keep the edges healthy and bright.
Common questions
Will veneers look fake?
Not when they’re planned around your face. We choose shape and shade to suit your skin tone, lips and age, and you approve the design first.
Do veneers damage my teeth?
Porcelain veneers need a thin layer of enamel prepared. Composite bonding often needs little or none. We’ll explain the trade-offs for your teeth.
Can I get it done before my wedding?
Often, yes, if you start early. Book a consultation two to three months ahead so there’s time to plan without rushing.
