- 4AftercareYou go home with clear aftercare instructions and a number to call.
Aftercare
- Bite on the gauze for 30–45 minutes; don’t spit or rinse hard for 24 hours.
- Cold, soft food on day one. Avoid smoking and straws.
- Call us if bleeding, swelling or pain increases after day three.
Common questions
Do all wisdom teeth need to come out?
No. Healthy wisdom teeth that have come through properly can stay. We remove them only when they cause or are likely to cause problems.
